The great thing about wearing pink is that you can ALWAYS find a shade that suits YOU or a season to wear it (I’m talking to you fellas, as well).

You know, a few years ago I wouldn’t have dreamed of saying one kind word about the color pink. I haven’t ever had much of an affinity for it, and I certainly didn’t carry any pink in my wardrobe. A couple encounters changed my opinion of red’s more feminine counterpart. One was this sweater. BAM! It’s bold. It’s bright. It super saturated and stands out against the grey drab of winter.

Try mixing it with an equally strong orange and, POW! Take that freezing ice and snow. Another was this lipstick, MAC Candy Yum-Yum. SMASH! (I’ll wear a swatch sometime soon.) And another was this bag– simple, structured, and the soft pink gave it just the right feminine edge. WHHA!

From neon fuchsia in February to the palest blush come June, I’ve found that there is a pink for every person. So hit your closet and pull out your pink, ladies and gents. This tractable color is a year-round thumbs up!

Thursday, here we are!

X, Megan
