I don’t necessarily think that a gray sky calls for a gray ensemble. Sometimes you want to bring out the color on a particularly gloomy day. Sometimes you just want to blend, you know, go with it. Am I right?

I got this coat on sale-sale (my term for those fabulous double markdowns) at T.J. Maxx. It has been such a fun addition to my outerwear. I love the might-be-a-horse-blanket marl of the fabric, the gradation of the gray, and the oversized hood and pockets– fashion and function!

Snow continues to fall as I type this, and I’ve got to get a meal on for the kiddos. I hope your Tuesday holds something special, even if that simply means taking a few deep breaths, listening to the exhale out of your lungs with attuned ears, and relishing that next breath of new air.
