Welcome (back)! It’s great to see you. Saturday, it’s good to see you, too!

It’s been full week over her at Refined + Rugged. Mostly the life stuff has kept us hopping. It NEVER ceases to amaze me how much laundry two active boys can wear through in a week. Or how many dishes pile up on the daily. Or how the dust bunnies start nosing around so quickly after a corner clean.

I once read somewhere that keeping your house clean with small children is like shoveling snow during a snow storm. Touché, winter, touché. Plus, Daddy has been in Spain all week for work, but we’re picking him up TOMORROW! Hola!

For the next few weeks on the blog  I’m going to be singing the praises of the WHITE SHIRT. Nothing revolutionary about this commentary, but the subject definitely warrants some attention. The white shirt is a great way to acclimate your seasonal transitions with ease and STYLE!

This wardrobe all-star is a staple for guys and gals. We’ll kick off Monday with a more formal introduction, but I wanted to share this fabulous shirt today. And post these snow shots now, because I’m hoping by the time our discussion of the white shirt ends, Spring will really have SPRUNG!

This particular white shirt is a wonder because it has both STRUCTURE and FLOW. Business on top with the standard collar and buttons, party in the back with the oversized tail. I took this look a little boho with the booties and the hat, but it could just as easily swing to breezy when the weather turns warm and you pair it with shorts. You get the idea.

XX, Megan
