Coming at you with another summer dress favorite! This dress is on summer repeat, as well. It’s a favorite from Old Navy last year. I wore it here. But I have an almost identical option for you if you are looking for another light linen dress to add to your summer mix!

This linen skater dress from ASOS is really the SAME dress. I also saw it styled up perfectly by Blair over at The Fox and She, here! I got so many compliments on this look on Instagram I felt I would be remiss if I didn’t include this look, plus details, in my post line-up.

Ah! This dress is all things summer! I cannot say enough about the light layers, beautiful embroidery, or its perfect spin! This particular color was available last season, and I featured it here in the fall.

I wish that I could claim credit for these beautiful yellow roses, but alas, they are not mine!  My photographer is so good about (read: insists) that we find a variety of places to shoot, and this little house on the corner has become one of our favorite stops.

I don’t know who lives here (I sort of hope not to ever have to meet them in person). But I’m sure we’ll keep snapping away in front of their nice yard all summer!

Have you tried this “wear a bandana” business personally, yet? I wore a red one around my neck a few weeks ago, and some stranger at the grocery store asked if I was going to be starring in Grease Lightning! Lough out loud. No I am not!

The bandana trend is becoming more and more ubiquitous. One of my favorite bloggers, Christine Cameron, of My Style Pill, recently showed a variety of ways to rock the bandana scarf. Her article Three Outfits, One Scarf is worth a read if you want to try this trend.

Here’s the thing, I’m not one to get on the trend train with force, but a $5.00 bandana? I can swing that kind of purchase any day! You can also go luxe! I LOVE this silk version from Aqua. And I do love that it adds a point of interest to my bag, or my blouse, or my neck. Would you ever? Do tell!!

I cannot stop singing James Taylor’s “Country Road” as I look at these outfit photos. “Take to  the highway won’t you lend me your name? Your way and my way seem to be one and the same.”

“I guess my feet know where they want me to go. Walking on a country road.” I tried to listen to the song as I typed up the post, but I just kept singing instead of typing, so I’ll have to cue it up on my iPhone this morning.

My penchant for sweaters doesn’t end in the summer months. This is a new favorite from Madewell (also available here), and it has definitely been on repeat in this summer’s closet lineup. Would you ever entertain the fringe-y trend? I’ve shopped this shirt and several similar options below.
