I know I’ve said it before, and I’m sure I’ll say it again. I live in a pretty rad state. I am bowled over, blown away, awed, and left astounded time and again by the beauty that is Utah. Now listen, I also understand that States are arbitrary places. Lines drawn by humans and governments to create place and order and voting precincts.
But WOW. I cannot get over the sublimity, the grandeur, the sweep and flow of this landscape. Need I go on! LOL.
August has arrived. Summer is winding to its close. It was a quick one, I tell you, at least over here at R+R. I felt as though it was the 4th of July before I knew and BOMB! Here comes fall, and autumn, and school, and schedules. Sort of still in shock.
We mustn’t get ahead of ourselves, however. I’m going to savor the last bit of summer we have ahead of us. I’m going to stand on a cliff and let the wind blow my hair back. I’m going to stare at a lizard, and kick up some red dust. I hope you are having or embarking on a lovely Tuesday. Thanks for stoping by!

Hey, my old stomping grounds. I learned to ride a bike on that road. True story. Love the pics.

Truly! How fun is that! I did not know that you learned to ride a bike on this road. I want you to know that bike riding can be much easier and more enjoyable when NOT on this road. I say that because we should have gotten you over to the paved Church parking lot. Paved. Relatively flat. Free of gravel grinding!!!!
